- Carl Youngblood is a founding member of the Mormon Transhumanist Association. He has worked professionally as a software engineer for over ten years, and is currently the Rails Practice Manager for Surgeworks, a software engineering consulting firm.
Carl served a mission in Londrina, Brazil from 1994-96. He received a B.A. in Portuguese with a Music minor from Brigham Young University and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Washington. He is married to Kami Allred and is the father of three boys. He is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and currently serves as Assistant Scoutmaster in the Highland First Ward.
When not busy with his other responsibilities, Carl enjoys reading, music, camping and hiking.
