Kristi Scott's Blog

Posted this as a reply to Daniel Nesbit, but thought I'd put it up as a blog post too

There is no Transhumanist Party per se, but I've signed up for the Unity '08 group for the next big election. The concept of the group is to be a third party between the lines. With being on neither side, but inside agreeing to come to the middle and rational decision about how the country should be headed. That way the discussions and inclusions of what's important to the populace or delegates rises to the top, with the voices being heard with the biggest numbers. Transhumanism, ethics, daily life

I was at my son's baseball game tonight, they're 0-14 right now. That's another topic for another blog, he obviously did not get the ringer teams, at least he's smiling though. Just wondering

Who on here is coming to the Human Rights in the 21st Century conference next weekend? I'd like to meet some of the interesting people on here and here what people have to say in person, which is always fun. I know of a few people that will be there to look for/run into, which I will hopefully recognize from pictures I guess?? Just curious.

One of which, that's changed my popular culture perspective, is being a transhumanist. Which has required me to look at things differently than I did before. I feel that my eyes are open to a whole new perspective on the world and media. I tried to watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles last weekend with my son/family. (BTW the old ones were much better. The… Continue

Hey Kristi, I just noticed that you'll be speaking at the Human Rights in the 21st Century conference. Indeed, quite a few people in this social network will be speaking there too. I'll be attending and I look forward to meeting all of you and hearing your speeches :-)
